I probably need to use DSDT Patches but i am not sure how to do DSDT Patches yet, i have got my DSDT and placed it in the root but to not much difference. I tried VoodooHDA, a few variations but it keeps detecting the Digital Output but and HDMI output but not the speakers.

Hey Zane, Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes you feel like the lone voice in the wilderness around these parts, but, such is life As to which kernel your running. I assume you installed from the retail cd, in which case, it's plain old machkernel.

Look in / for.kernel. I tried the legacykernel from kexts but. Didn't change much (read: nothing To get your video working fully, your in luck. Run, don't walk, over to kexts.com and download the gt240m driver. It fully enabled my gt230m.

I have yet to find another use for QE For the sound, I used VoodooHDA 2.56. Works for my intel chipset. The sliders do sweet f.a for me, but I can select between headphones/speakers using the sound applet in the control panel. Plus when I run videolan or iTunes, I can change the settings there. It's almost like the master channel is wired to the slider but pcm is wired to the iTunes slider.

Really kinda painful (let's be honest here people. If you can get away without doing it (and I think you mostly can) then go for it. Oh, and if your wireless card is an intel wifi, do yourself a favour and save hair and either replace it or buy one of those teeny tiny airlink usb dongles.
