PING G400 Max Technology Larger Profile This illustration shows how the deeper profile compares to the G400 standard driver, the 460cc head featuring Dragonfly Technology to thin the crown and position the CG low for maximizing MOI.
Features and Benefits of the Ping Rapture driver:. Lightweight composite crown insert allows the thin, fully-machined variable thickness face increases ball speed and is robotically plasma welded for consistency and durability. Titanium removed from the crown is placed inside the clubhead in the form of weight pads to position the CG for higher launching, lower spinning drives. Complex manufacturing process wherein the composite material is inserted into the web-shape titanium crown using a bladder mould creates the unique, eye catching design. The Ping Rapture is available in 9, 10.5 and 12 degree lofts. Wow solidfox i have been plying golf for about six year's now, but only properly in the last 6 months.
So i wanted a new diver and me being me it had to be top of the range. I chose the ping rapture 12 degree which i found on golfbidder for 170 pounds.
I know what your thinking a lot for one club, but the very first shot i hit with it can only be described as awesome!! Straight and very long. When you are use to seeing your drives sailing away to the right and having to play your next shot from the wrong fairway 170 pounds for this kind of accuracy, length and consistency is a snip!!! I have no fear of any tee shot now i have my ping rapture in my bag, single figure handicap here i come. Head Ratings Score Irons Woods 10 - New or Mint Brand new, never been hit.

About The Manufacturer Engineer and inventor Karsten Solheim got his start as an engineer working for GE in Ithaca, New York. His passion for the game set him on a journey to create a better putter. At the time he thought he was simply building it for his own personal use, but in 1959, Karsten’s ongoing garage experiments yielded an innovative putter he called 1A design. This putter had very distinctive design qualities, among them, a unique tone at impact, a sound that would echo throughout the game for generations to come“Ping.” The Anser putter began a long and proud history of truly innovative equipment design throughout Ping’s entire product line (ultimately resulting in over 400 patents) that has set Ping at the top of the list of golf design and manufacturing companies. The company is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Karsten Solheim has passed away and his son John has taken the helm.
